My first job working at Disney certainly gave me the taste to be in film and television. I was in production for 8 years and never thought of being a director because I didn’t think it was possible. After leaving to work in advertising as a producer, I was asked to make a video and when the budget couldn’t afford a director, I stepped in. I thought ‘If I can make a baby, I can direct!’ I was one of the first 3 female ad directors when I started and made my way to directing hundreds of TV ads and digital content. Winning a Mobius Award and finishing a short feature film. Working with non-actors I love because I explore their essence and show that on camera. I have directed the likes of Meat Loaf, John Poulson and Jennifer Hawkins. I still direct videos at my agency or work freelance.
